Lysol Resources for Back-to-School Prep

Topics: NAESP Partner

School’s out for the summer! While students are enjoying their summer break, educators are already gearing up for the new academic year. One crucial aspect of preparing for a new school year is ensuring classrooms are properly equipped with the essential supplies and resources necessary for effective teaching and learning.

Schools and teachers often rely on the generous contributions and involvement of their school community to help stock up the classroom with these essentials. This school year, Lysol is providing educators with a ready-to-go, back-to-school shopping list that includes recommendations on helpful products to have in the classroom. Teachers can use this checklist as a reminder of what to include as they build their teachers’ lists, or to share directly with families.

Here are a few back-to-school essentials educators can find on the lists:

  • Lysol Disinfecting Wipes and Lysol Disinfectant Spray: Lysol Disinfecting Wipes and Lysol Disinfectant Spray kill 99.9 percent of viruses and bacteria when used as directed. Lysol makes it easy to disinfect high-touch classroom surfaces like desks, doorknobs, and chairs.
  • Writing Utensils (pens, pencils, dry erase markers, crayons, etc.): Having plenty of writing utensils in a classroom encourages students to write, draw, and actively participate in lessons. Plus, they’re constantly drying out or breaking; backups are always needed!
  • Erasers: Students make mistakes! Having plenty of erasers around fosters a culture of learning from errors and freedom to try new things in class.
  • Index Cards: Index cards are such a versatile tool that serve multiple purposes in the classroom from studying, memorizing, organization, brainstorming, and more. Every classroom should be fully stocked with plenty of index cards!
