Student Programs

NAESP provides an array of options to get your students involved, from student government activities to awards and recognition programs.

Community Through Student Leadership

American Student Council Association (ASCA)

NAESP provides rich opportunities for principals to develop and enhance their professional knowledge and practice, in order to progress the quality of learning, teaching, and school improvement.
Honor Your Students

President’s Education Awards Program (PEAP)

The President’s Education Awards Program was developed to help principals recognize and honor students who have achieved high academic goals through hard work and dedication to learning.
Inspire Your Students

American Citizenship Award (ACA)

Too often, disruptive students command attention while students who follow the rules and conduct themselves appropriately go unnoted. The American Citizenship Award Program recognizes model students who inspire and encourage other students to strive to be better citizens.
National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS)

National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS)

Established in 2008 in partnership with the National Association of Secondary Schools (NASSP), NEHS recognizes students in both public and nonpublic elementary schools for their outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility. Through NEHS, students provide meaningful service to the school and community and develop essential leadership skills.
