Jessica Sprick

Jessica Sprick is a writer and trainer for Safe and Civil Schools. She began teaching as a special education teacher for students with emotional and behavioral needs and later became a Dean of Students at the middle school level. She now works as an educational consultant for Safe & Civil Schools and as an author for Ancora Publishing and ASCD. Jessica is the lead trainer for Safe & Civil Schools’ model of absenteeism prevention and intervention and provides trainings across the country on this topic for thousands of educators each year. She is the primary author of “The School Leader’s Guide to Tackling Attendance Challenges”, and “The Teacher’s Guide to Tackling Attendance Challenges”, and is a co-author of “The Functional Behavior Assessment of Absenteeism & Truancy and Absenteeism & Truancy: Interventions and Universal Procedures”.
