We collected food for a local food bank. We also had a “Donation Drive” where we donated puzzles, games, and prizes to assisted living homes and pet treats, towels, etc. to animal shelters. We had a “Socktober” drive in October and donated socks, toothbrushes, hair brushes, etc. to shelters for abused women and children. We had a coat drive and donated gently used coats to our school district. In December, we helped collect toys for children in hospitals.
Student Council members made encouraging notes and hung them around the school to encourage kids to be well-behaved and motivate them throughout the year.
