Molly Elizabeth White

A four-year principal with three years’ tenure at Lincoln Elementary School, Molly White also served as Director of Pender County Schools for six years. At Lincoln, she has ignited stakeholder ownership and pride in the second oldest school in the Brunswick district by redefining its identity as a learning environment for all. White has worked closely with all of the staff to impart her strong knowledge of curriculum and research-based strategies, bringing Lincoln from one of the lowest to one of the top performing schools in the county with academic growth achieved each year under her leadership. White has been instrumental in establishing professional learning communities at Lincoln; She initiated the use of a PLC Rubric for each team and has encouraged consensus between PLCs and the School Improvement Team to ensure that change is implemented thoughtfully and thoroughly. Simply by implementing a plan to follow up all phone and email communication within 24 hours, White has increased volunteerism at Lincoln with over fifty individuals who now feel part of a collaborative partnership. White is a North Brunswick Chamber Education Foundation Excellence in Education Committee Member and was named the Southeast Region Wells Fargo North Carolina Principal of the Year for 2016. She holds a B.A. in Science Education from Western Illinois University as well as a MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
