Ten to Teen: Where Have the Parents Gone?

By Mark Terry Principal, November/December Having been a principal at all grade levels during my career, from elementary to middle level to high school, I understand that students who excel academically, socially, and behaviorally often have parents who are actively involved in their learning. In fact, I believe that if a student has a parent who is interested and involved with his or her child’s school in some manner, that student has a huge advantage.
