Power to the Profession is a national collaboration—of which NAESP is a member—to define the early childhood profession by establishing a unifying framework for career pathways, knowledge and competencies, qualifications, standards and compensation. As this framework is updated, it’s important for your feedback to be included.

Here’s how you can help.

  1. Read the draft.
  2. Check out the resources and materials that will help you understand the content.
  3. Take the survey. It’s open until March 22. Comments also can be emailed to p2p@naeyc.org.
  4. Share this information with other educators who have a connection to early childhood education. The task force is looking for as much input from key stakeholders as possible.

By leveraging our collective thinking and shared commitment, we can create a cohesive profession and advance early childhood educators in an effective, diverse, and well-compensated profession across all states and settings.
