Power to the Profession is a national collaboration—of which NAESP is a member—to define the early childhood profession by establishing a unifying framework for career pathways, knowledge and competencies, qualifications, standards and compensation. As this framework is updated, it’s important for your feedback to be included.
Here’s how you can help.
- Read the draft.
- Check out the resources and materials that will help you understand the content.
- Take the survey. It’s open until March 22. Comments also can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Share this information with other educators who have a connection to early childhood education. The task force is looking for as much input from key stakeholders as possible.
By leveraging our collective thinking and shared commitment, we can create a cohesive profession and advance early childhood educators in an effective, diverse, and well-compensated profession across all states and settings.
