Make history with NAESP this summer as we undertake the world’s largest principal book study! This two-part book discussion will give principals across the country a chance to swap ideas and connect with one another around a common topic: the principles of Dave Burgess’s best-seller Teach Like a PIRATE.
Though Teach Like a PIRATE is directed to teachers, these book discussions will focus on how principals can use its strategies to strengthen their leadership and maximize their instructional coaching.
The book study has two components. First, on June 17 at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern time), NAESP will host a twitter chat about leveraging technology for instructional leadership. Make sure to use the hashtag #naesp14.
Second, at our 2014 Annual Conference in Nashville, NAESP will host a live discussion from the Social Media Lounge about using the book for instructional coaching. The Social Media Lounge will be the place to be to charge up, hang out, and dive in to social media and technology topics.
Be sure to register for the conference, and follow NAESP on Twitter for updates on the book study. Don’t let it happen without you!
