November 2013, Volume 37, Issue 3

NAESP is excited to announce the launch of the new National Panel of Early Career Principals, an initiative to take the pulse of new principals around the country during their critical first years on the job.

It’s simple and the time commitment is minimal. Panelists are invited, via email, to take five minutes once a month to answer a question on a relevant topic. Each time they participate, they receive a $10 gift certificate to shop in the National Principal Resource Center; non-NAESP members also earn a free NAESP membership by responding for at least six months.

How to nominate a panelist: Principals in their first two years may be nominated by a fellow administrator, or submit their names directly to NAESP. Participants may remain on the panel until the end of their second year in the principalship. And yes, those who were formerly assistant principals are also welcome!

Applications now being accepted: Send an email indicating your interest to Ann Henley at ahenley@naesp.org with principal’s name, school, and contact information.
