NAESP Statement in Response To Shooting at Perry High School in Perry, Iowa

The nation’s principals mourn the loss of life and injuries that were sustained during the most recent school shooting in Perry, Iowa.

“Children deserve a safe school experience where they can focus on academic growth, not whether they will return at the end of the day unharmed,” said NAESP’s executive director, L. Earl Franks, Ed.D., CAE. “NAESP continues to support policies that put children’s safety first.”
