NAESP Pre-K-8 Principals Conference Cancellation

Due to the ongoing threat of exposure to COVID-19, NAESP made the difficult decision to cancel this year's conference in Louisville.

Due to the ongoing threat of exposure to COVID-19, NAESP has made the difficult decision to cancel the NAESP Pre-K–8 Principals Conference activities scheduled to take place July 11-14 at the Louisville Convention Center. As previously communicated, we have closely monitored news reports and guidance issued by the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as information provided by Louisville Tourism. Our primary concern has been, and will always be, the well-being of our members, staff, and other participants. This was not an easy decision, but ultimately the public health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, speakers, staff, and volunteers led the NAESP Board of Directors to conclude that cancelling the face-to-face meeting is the safe and responsible action.

NAESP will handle all conference registration cancellations and refunds. You can indicate your refund preferences by completing this cancellation form; please submit it by June 12. If you have made hotel reservations, please cancel them. For answers to additional questions you might have related to the cancellation of the conference, please review these FAQs.

We are already looking forward to a time when we can reconvene the NAESP community face-to-face. The year 2021 will mark NAESP’s 100th anniversary, and to commemorate this milestone, we are excited to bring the NAESP Pre-K–8 Principals Conference to the location of our very first conference: Chicago, Illinois. Please mark your calendars for July 8-10, 2021; we look forward to seeing you next year in Chicago to celebrate 100 years of NAESP!

Thank you again for being part of the NAESP family and for all that you do to lead dynamic learning communities. We hope you and your loved ones are safe and well during these unprecedented times.
