DonorsChoose.org Gift Card Winners Announced
NAESP and DonorsChoose.org teamed up to get teachers to post projects in need of funding. Three of those schools won $5,000 DonorsChoose.org gift cards.
NAESP and DonorsChoose.org teamed up this summer to help principals support their teachers by encouraging them to post projects on DonorsChoose.org, a crowdsourcing website that specifically helps teachers across the U.S. As a result of the campaign, dozens of schools posted teachers’ projects on DonorsChoose.org that needed funding.
Qualifying schools were entered into a drawing for one of three DonorsChoose.org $5,000 gift cards they could use to fund projects at their schools. Here are the winning schools and principals at those schools:
- Cranberry Elementary School in North Port, Florida, and principal Linda Daniels.
- Richland Elementary School in Memphis and principal Sharon McNary.
- Winget Park Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina, and principal Rick Mohrien.
Congratulations to the winning schools!
