Helping Keep Children Safe With SmileSafe
Our partner, Lifetouch works with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to provide a current, quality image of every child photographed each year.
When a child goes missing, our heart stops but the clock starts racing. What law enforcement needs most is a current photo, fast. NAESP’s partner, Lifetouch works with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) to provide a current, quality image of every child photographed each year. Through the partnership with NCMEC, Lifetouch has assisted with more than 2,500 searches and has contributed to the successful recovery of 60 children from 24 states as a direct result.
Lifetouch plays a critical role in the recovery of missing children. They take this job to heart; and provide every child they photograph with a SmileSafe photo ID card for their family and stores an image that can be used in the event a child goes missing. Because this kind of service should never come at a price, Lifetouch provides it at no cost to families.
