“Food Drive”

Planning and Organization: The student council began by identifying the need for a food drive in their local community and decided to partner with the Texas Food Bank. Promotion and Awareness: To generate excitement and participation, the council launched an awareness campaign. They created informative posters and flyers to be displayed around the school, along with announcements during school assemblies and on social media. Collection Process: Designated collection boxes were placed in accessible areas throughout the school, making it easy for students and faculty to drop off their donations. Engagement Activities: To boost participation, the council organized a friendly competition between classes, with incentives for the class that collected the most items. This not only encouraged more donations but also fostered camaraderie and school spirit. Final Donation and Impact: At the conclusion of the food drive, the collected items were sorted and packaged, ready for delivery to the Texas Food Bank. A representative from the council shared the total amount collected and detailed the positive impact these donations would have on local families, reinforcing the significance of the community’s efforts.

“Spirit Week Celebration”

This week-long event typically consists of a series of themed activities, challenges, and collaborative events that encourage participation and pride in the school.
