“Change-ing Autism”

For the month of March students were encouraged to donate change to support Autism Charlotte. Each class was given a donation box to collect the funds. Each week the funds were collected. A chart was hung in the hall indicating how much we had raised. Announcements were made during the March to motivate giving.

Student Leadership

“Peer to Peer Math Tutoring”

When students bring their homework to the tutoring area and show where they struggled, and the tutor offers support through questions and explanations, the process becomes interactive and student-centered.
