“Donald Green Team”

STUCO members team up with the teachers to have recycled items placed outside the classrooms once a week. Green Team will go around once a week to collect the recyclables and bring to our big collection containers that we bought with our fundraiser money. The recycled items are then brought to the recycling dumpster from the company “Recycle Texas”, which helps decrease the amount of trash brought to the landfills.    

“Veteran’s Day Breakfast”

Students prepared for the breakfast by creating decorations and setting up the tables for the veterans to arrive. Once Veterans arrived, STUCO welcomed them in, led them to their table and helped serve breakfast. Veterans were recognized by the armed forces they served in and were led in a recognition parade around the school. Student Council members actively walked around during the breakfast thanking them for their service and asking if they need anything.
