UNITED: The National Conference on School Leadership in Seattle, July 11–13, is packed with opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate alongside fellow NAESP school leaders from across the nation. From community service to reunions, networking meetups, and recognition, this year’s lineup is designed to elevate your leadership journey. Here’s what’s in store for NAESP members only—and why these events are must-attends!   

Community Service Day  

July 10 | 8:30 a.m.–12 p.m. | Meet at 6th Floor, 613/614 | Arch Center

Kick off your conference experience by giving back! NAESP’s annual Community Service Day is a chance to make a tangible impact on the local community. This year, we’ll be beautifying Bailey Gatzert Elementary School, including building new playground structures thanks to our sponsor, Landscape Structures. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with fellow leaders while creating something meaningful for students.

Member Meetups  

Whether you’re already an active member of NAESP’s communities of practice or you’re looking to connect, NAESP community of practice meetups offer you the chance to meet with your colleagues in-person and find a support network you can count on well beyond the conference.  

Joint Assistant Principals and Early Career Principals Meetup

Assistant principals (APs) play a vital role in school leadership. This meetup is a space for APs to connect, share strategies, and find inspiration to grow in your leadership role while networking with peers who share your unique challenges.   

Plus, starting your leadership journey can be overwhelming—this meetup is early career principals’ chance to connect with others in the same stage of their careers. Share tips, get advice, and build a support network that will help you thrive as a principal.   

Latino+ Network Meetup

Celebrate and connect with leaders shaping inclusive schools. This meetup is a chance to share your experiences and champion equity in education while networking with peers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities of serving diverse communities.
