“Husky’s Helping Others”
We were able to secure a shift with Iron Gate Food Pantry in Downtown Tulsa. Council members put on their aprons and got straight to work packing lunches, sorting through produce, restocking refrigerators and sorted through boxes of groceries that would be delivered and dispersed to the homeless community later that afternoon.
“GrinchGrams”
GrinchGrams are full sized candy canes with various Grinch quotes attached to them. We sell them for for $0.50 each and students are allowed to eat them throughout the day. GrinchGrams are sold during lunch time to keep any kind of classroom distraction to a minimum. The fundraiser lasts throughout the week and all money raised goes directly to supporting a local effort our community.
