NAESP Outlines Increase to Member Dues

The change in member dues, as decided by the NAESP Board of Directors, will begin to take effect July 1, 2022.

This past year, in an effort to enhance and expand our services and staff capacity, the NAESP Board of Directors, upon a recommendation from the NAESP Membership Committee, approved an increase to our annual dues. This dues increase is crucial for our organization to continue to move forward. With this increase, we will be able to improve and increase the services, products, benefits, and resources for all members while working to achieve the goals and priorities of our strategic plan.

It should be noted that the NAESP board approved a dues increase in March of 2020, however, due to the pandemic, the board, committee, and staff were all in favor of postponing the increase. Additionally, we have not increased dues in 11 years.

Outlined below are our membership categories and the new dues amounts. On average, these amounts reflect a 2-percent increase each year over 11 years.

Moving forward, the NAESP board will annually review the categories of membership and applicable dues structure with recommendations from the NAESP Membership Committee to determine if any adjustments should be implemented.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this increase, please contact Jackie McGrail, NAESP associate executive director of Membership, Development, and Affiliated Services, at jmcgrail@naesp.org.
