NAESP Launches Mobile Member App to Enhance Learning, Advocacy and Communication
Available to all members, app will drive professional development and engagement.
Alexandria, VA—January 16, 2020—The National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) has launched a comprehensive mobile app to enable members to access educational opportunities, learn about important policy issues and offer feedback. Developed by Connect For Schools, which builds iOS and Android apps for schools and educational associations, the app runs on smartphones and tablets.
“Principals come to NAESP for much-needed support in leading learning communities; now they can access that support on-the-go through the NAESP app,” said NAESP Executive Director L. Earl Franks, Ed.D., CAE. “We’re proud to partner with Connect for Schools to elevate the way that the nation’s pre-K–8 school leaders receive valuable information that helps them provide students with optimal learning experiences.”
The easy-to-use app, customized in response to member demand, will offer broad benefits. Busy on-the-go principals will have the information they need to do their jobs at their fingertips.

Members can access details about and register for NAESP webcasts and in-person events. They can also find archived educational materials.
Advocacy
The app widens members’ potential impact on local, state and national policies. Members can track specific pieces of legislation that affect principals or students and receive regular updates.
Member Input
Member surveys are simple to implement and manage, allowing principals to share their feedback with NAESP.
Recognition
The app can boost member awareness about recognition programs and send alerts spotlighting award-winning principals.
