The professional opportunities provided by NAESP and MEMSPA have been a source of support for me as I strive to be the best I can for the students, staff, and community I serve. I have been a member of the Michigan Elementary and Middle School Principals Association (MEMSPA) and NAESP for 15 years. I have held several positions at the county, local region, and state level. I served as President of MEMSPA during the 2010-2011 school year, which was a three-year commitment, included being president-elect and past president. I would be honored to represent the principals of Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin as Zone 6 Director.
