COVID-19 will continue to change education altering the ways in which students learn, teachers teach, and leaders lead. Educational leaders are positioned to navigate new opportunities while bringing calming logic and coherence to the disequilibrium presented with COVID-19.
Through the conversations between the two authors, we will address for “How” questions:
- During COVID-19, How did educational leaders think through the emotional aspect of their work during the rapidly-changing landscape in front of them?
- How do leaders establish a level of educational continuity and coherence in the midst of rapid change?
- How do leaders determine what practices and school structures remain or are modified post COVID-19?
- How do leaders pivot to meet the new social needs of students once school starts?
