MISSION
The mission of the National Association of Elementary School Principals is to lead in the advocacy and support for elementary and middle-level principals and other education leaders in their commitment for all children.
VISION
NAESP's long-range Vision clearly defines the core work of principals and of the Association:
Leading education on behalf of children;
Learning for continuous professional development;
fostering Community in and around schools, across the country, and around the world.
In the landmark report, Vision 2021: Transformations in Leading, Learning, and Community, NAESP charted an ambitious path to lead advocacy and support for elementary and middle-level principals. NAESP's vision looks to 2021, the year the Association will celebrate its 100th anniversary, and clearly defines the core work of principals and of the Association.
NAESP is committed to meeting the demands of today and ensuring excellence in the future for principals and children.
