Leading Early Childhood Learning Communities: Professional Development for Leaders
This comprehensive 7 module workshop engages participants in activities that will strengthen their understanding of the learning continuum from birth through third grade and provides strategies and case studies for incorporating early learning principles and practices into their schools' learning communities. Workshop content is appropriate for state and district delivery of principal professional development, but can be equally effective for individual principals to use with their staff members.

Aligning the Learning Day: Collaboration Strategies for Principals and After-School Program Directors
This program will provide principals with the resources and knowledge to promote, establish, operate, and sustain quality after-school programs that positively impact student performance. It will also help after-school providers and principals develop collaborative approaches to after-school activities.

Aspiring Principals Workshops
- Previewing the 21st Century Principalship is a great choice for individuals considering a career as a principal. The full-day session features simulations, small and large group activities, and a panel of successful principals who will answer questions and offer their best insights and advice—all designed to provide a realistic view of just what being a principal is all about. Participants analyze personal strengths and areas for growth in relation to the six leadership standards outlined in NAESP’s Leading Learning Communities: Standards for What Principals Should Know and Be Able To Do. - Getting the Job - Done Right! is workshop is a recommended follow-up for anyone who has participated in Previewing the 21st Century Principalship or who already has some administrative experience or training. Activities focus on constructing an effective resume, assembling a professional portfolio, and developing strategies for a winning interview. Participants examine credentials and resumes of hypothetical candidates, as well as selected formats that best showcase experience, skills, and abilities; learn the secrets of concise, high-impact writing; and practice interview strategies that effectively convey personal and professional beliefs about education.
