Membership Categories
Active : Available to practicing elementary and middle-level principals, assistant principals, and related educators; includes all NAESP benefits and services, including the Legal Benefits Program ($1 million in individual professional liability coverage up and to $10,000 for job protection defense claims). $215 annually

Institutional Active: Available to all Active Members; includes a duplicate set of publications for the school library. $260 annually

Emeritus: Available to all retired NAESP Active Members; includes all NAESP benefits and services and the Legal Benefits Program, plus a free membership in AARP and NRTA. $108 annually

Retired: Available to all retired NAESP Active Members and Emeritus Members; includes all NAESP benefits and services except the Legal Benefits Program, plus a free membership in AARP and NRTA. $55 annually

Aspiring: Available to all students and educators pursuing a career as an elementary or middle-level principal; includes all NAESP benefits and services except the Legal Benefits Program. $70 annually

Associate: Available to professors of education or other non-principals; includes all benefits and services except the Legal Benefits Program. $115 annually

International Associate: Available to principals working outside the U.S. and its territories; includes all NAESP benefits and services except the Legal Benefits Program. $145 annually

Institutional Subscription: Available to non-school libraries only; includes subscriptions to all NAESP publications only. $140 annually
