“My students are doing homework on ASSISTments every night now, and I begin each class viewing reports with students. I wonder HOW I did this before!” — Barbara Delaney, 6th Grade Teacher and ASSISTments user

ASSISTments supports instruction in all subject areas but is an especially robust platform for teaching math. All ASSISTments math items are tagged to a skill, and all skills are mapped to the Common Core State Standards. ASSISTments is research-based; the tool is proven to have a positive impact on student learning, homework completion, and closing the achievement gap.

Bring your laptop to this hands-on workshop.

Teams will participate in the morning session together. At midday, principals will attend a special luncheon focus group led by NAESP Deputy Executive Director Michael Schooley, Ed.D., to discuss the additional potential of ASSISTments nationwide. Principals will re-convene with math teachers for an afternoon wrap-up session.

Registration is limited to teams consisting of a principal and a math teacher. Other educators may attend on an invitation-only basis if space is available.

The team registration fee of $50 is covered by a scholarship for the first 15 teams. Register by Friday, Feb. 10 to qualify. Click here to register.

Teams that adopt ASSISTments will automatically join the ASSISTments national network to share best practices and improvement strategies, and may be invited to participate in an NAESP publication on the use of ASSISTments to improve learning.

All principals who are not NAESP members will receive a full publication year of the Association's award-winning magazine, Principal. In addition, each team will receive free copies of these valuable NAESP books:
