The National Association of Elementary School Principals, the National Coalition on Personnel Shortages in Special Education and Related Services, and the National Center to Improve Recruitment and Retention of Qualified Personnel for Children with Disabilities (Personnel Improvement Center) will focus on the principal leadership necessary for the support of special education personnel and related service providers to ensure effective special education programming. Successful practices to recruit and retain special education personnel and related service providers will be discussed.
