MetLife Foundation has released the Part 2 of its MetLife’s Survey of the American Teacher: Preparing Students for College and Careers. The first part of the Survey, “Clearing the Path” released early March 2011, examined what college and career ready means. The second part, “Teaching Diverse Learners,” looks at student differences, how teachers are addressing them, and how well students feel their needs are being met.

NAESP Foundation partners with three other national organizations on a Breakfast in the Classroom initiative. We believe that principals, working with teachers, school food services and custodial staff, students, and families are in the best position to reduce childhood hunger in our nation’s schools.
